General Information: University Catering is available Sunday through Saturday with a minimum
order of $500 for events held on a Sunday.
Placing Orders: Orders need to be placed three (3) weeks prior to event date. A guaranteed
attendance figure is required for all events at least five (5) business days prior to the event
date. If University Catering is not advised by this time, the estimated figure will automatically
become the guarantee. No further adjustments can be made to the order after the five (5)
business day deadline has passed. Please use the Catering Order Form, located on our
website, to submit all orders.
Emergency Requests University Catering will accommodate late requests when possible,
additional charges will apply.
Food & Beverage Service University Catering does not allow any outside food or beverage to
be brought into your event unless it has been pre-approved. All food must be consumed on
the premises.
Deliveries University Catering does not provide tables unless included with your order. Linen
tablecloths are available for $5.50 per linen. The event location must be unlocked and
available at least 30 minutes prior to the event start time. The Client is responsible for the
safekeeping of all University Catering small wares and equipment. Any lost or damaged
equipment will be charged at replacement value.
Menu Selection & Additional Charges Entrée selections are limited to a maximum of two (2)
choices and additional charges will apply. University Catering requires that the Client identify
the entrée selected by each guest. Please advise of any religious and/or dietary restrictions
when placing your order.
Wine & Beer Service We proudly serve Fresno State Wine by the glass. There is a $25/ hour
bartending fee with a two (2) hour minimum required for all events where alcohol is served.
Bar charges will be billed after event based on consumption. You must complete and submit
the Application for Use of Alcoholic Beverages On Campus online, located at http://
www.fresnostate.edu/adminserv/ehsrms, to serve alcohol at any event on campus.
Cancellations and Charges There is no charge for cancellations made
seven (7) business days prior to your event. Should you need to cancel
your event less than seven (7) business days prior to your event date
you are responsible for 100% of the cost of goods purchased for your
event including food, rentals, and labor.
Payment University Departments are extended credit with prior
authorization and an invoice will be sent once the event is over. For all
other Clients, payment in full is required three (3) business days prior to
event date.
