Electronic Journals
Training
Electronic journals are accessible via the dedicated UCL WalkIn terminals for GOSH staff or on Desktop@UCL anywhere for
UCL students and staff.
The Library offers a range of sessions covering literature
searching and reference management. A full list is available at

PC Workstations
NHS Athens
The Library contains 5 machines connected to the GOSH
network and a cluster of 12 Desktop@UCL machines
Register using a GOSH computer and GOSH email address at
https://openathens.nice.org.uk/
Books and Print Journals
Website and Catalogue
Books are listed on the “Explore” web catalogue and shelved in
a classified order in the Reading Room. Most books can be
borrowed for 8 weeks. Material from the Global Health and
Development Collection may be borrowed for 1 week. Journals
are for reference only and cannot be borrowed.
Items held in the Library are listed on the UCL “Explore” web

Printing and Photocopying
Inter-Library Loans
A3 Colour and A4 Black and White Multi-functional Devices are
available to UCL users wishing to print, photocopy and scan
documents using Print@UCL. GOSH staff have access to free black
and white printing and scanning facilities.
Users may apply for items that are not available at UCL to be
borrowed from other institutions. Requests should be made
online at http://www.ucl.ac.uk/library/explore There is a
charge of £3 for each item requested.
