Considering the importance of harmonizing the terms and definitions across study groups and across
Sectors, ITU-T SG2 would like to inform the Standardization Committee for Vocabulary (SCV),
Coordination Committee for Vocabulary (CCV) and all ITU-T SGs about current activity concerning
terms and definitions in our Work Programme Recommendations (listed below).
SG2 encourages all interested parties to check possible overlapping and inform us (if so) to begin its
alignment/adaptation.
Recommendation ITU-T E.101 - Definitions of terms used for identifiers (names, numbers,
addresses and other identifiers) for public telecommunication services and networks in the Eseries Recommendations.
