Work-Study Grants for CalWORKs
Students
For the 2006-07 school year, Fast Track To Work will be awarding CalWORKs students up to
$2000 per semester in the form of a work-study grant. (This grant
is funded with CalWORKs money and will not affect your cash
aid.) How it works:
1. You must be in good standing with the CalWORKs program.
2. You must be enrolled in at least six units during the semester
for which you receive the grant.
3. As a student worker, you can work up to 19.5 hours per week or up to the $2000 limit,
whichever comes first.
4. You can work on or off campus with this award.
5. For more details, or to take advantage of this grant, come in or call the FTTW office.
