Mini-performance for pupils of kindergarten
“Safe world of the Internet”

REPORT
February 9, 2016 A.S. Popov Odessa National Academy of Telecommunications (A.S.
Popov ONAT) of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine together with the Department of
Education and Science of the Odessa City Council, with the support of the International
Telecommunication Union (ITU) organized a mini-performance for pupils of kindergarten “Safe
world of the Internet”. The performance was held in the ballroom of preschool educational institution
№29 (Odessa, Ukraine).
Mini performance prepared by students of A.S. Popov ONAT based on the “Multimedia
distance-learning course on the safe use of Internet resources” (https://onlinesafety.info),
developed jointly with the International Telecommunication Union in the framework of regional
initiative “Creating a child online protection centre for the CIS region” (WTDC-2014).

In an entertaining, playful way fairy tales characters: Dunno, Pippi “Long Stocking” and the
professor Googley told preschoolers about the basic rules of behavior on the Internet and the dangers
that could wait for them.
At the end of the mini-performance every child received the certificate about the completion
of the training course (level “Basic” – for preschool and primary school children), as well as DVDdisk with a course offline-version.
