This is what’s left of the trestle for the Santa Cruz - Garfield Park and
Capitola Electric Railway. The old wooden posts only show up in the
winter time as big waves erode the sand.

measureable fresh water influence at its
head.
• There are many types: drowned river
valleys, fjords, salt wedge, partially mixed
and well mixed.
