Deadlines for IGETC/CSU General Education/Breadth Submissions The Cabrillo College Articulation Office submits courses for IGETC and or CSU GE/Breadth consideration once a year usually during the last week of the fall semester. A course submitted for IGETC must be fully approved for transfer to the UC system. Each year Cabrillo must submit all new courses to the UC Office of the President (usually early in the fall semester) for approval. If a faculty member has provided a lower division parallel course from a UC, the chances are excellent that the course will be accepted for inclusion on the UC Transfer Course Agreement (TCA). Once we are notified about acceptance to UC in the fall the courses can then be submitted to the Academic Council for approval so that the Articulation Officer can submit them in December for the next year’s IGETC and CSU GE Breadth lists. This year the deadline for submissions is December 14th which means that courses must have Academic Council approval by the end of November. 5/16 bk
