Solution 1: Media Advertisements
• Create anti‐hate ads for TV, radio, newspapers
and billboards
• The ads will bring to light the severity of hate
crimes and will broaden people’s
understanding
• The ads will motivate people to initiate
change in their own home and community

Solution 2: Teaching in schools
• As a part of general education teachers would
help create awareness about hate crime
• In school kids will be given the opportunity to get
a different perspective from their parents’ beliefs
• If kids are taught at a young age, it will be more
likely they will keep an open mind to prevent the
cycle of hate

Solution 3: Outreach Programs
• Creating Awareness through outreach programs for
families to teach their children early about hate
• Community effort to reach out by holding conferences,
speeches, campaigning to stop discrimination and violent
acts and raising money to pay for education and
advertisements
• If we involve the community we will create unity rather
than constantly focusing on our differences
• This will provide a safe place for victims of hate crimes
