RE: CHEM 30B requirement for SJSU Nursing
Currently, the Advising Slides for Nursing on SJSU’s website state:
“NOTE: If you are not graduating by Fall 2014 (i.e. if you are graduating from SJSU after F, 2014),
CHEM 30B is not required”
Below, the clarification from SJSU’s Articulation Officer: Per Terri Eden – 10/1/2013
“The degree requirements for Nursing will be changing beginning with the Fall 2014 term, by that
time my understanding is that the SJSU Nursing program will submit paper work to remove the
Chem 30B (and I expect this to be approved). ASSIST currently only shows the degree
requirements for the AY 2013-14 which are correct. Once the change is approved, then ASSIST will
reflect update/change in the 2014-15 AY for Nursing. Students who enter prior to Fall 2014 will
need to request to graduate under the new catalog if they don't take CHEM 30B.”
