President’s Goals 2013-2014 Working with college constituents, community members, college committees and other institutional groups the following goals are submitted to the Board of Trustees: 1. In keeping with the Board Goals, develop and implement annual professional development opportunities for all college constituents that includes state approved student success training, employee skills training and other agreed upon areas to enhance institutional effectiveness 2. Complete the visioning workshop and vet the outcomes to the college at large for strategic planning and resource allocation for the next 5 years –work with the college on continued resource allocation and integration of planning 3. Provide consistent data training for the college, the community and the board that pertains to strategic planning for student success and institutional effectiveness 4. With the mission of student success and institutional effectiveness: a. Continue to pare down the deficit b. Explore resource allocation opportunities with the impact/update from the Governor’s approved state budget c. Review data related to Centers and other means of student access and enrollment to ascertain resource allocation and effectiveness d. Increase high school articulation (enrollment) through marketing and outreach Goals approved by the Board of Trustees January 13th, 2014.
