(hereinafter called the Publisher).
The Publisher accepts the following conditions:
(i)
The sum that must be paid for concession of the use of each MATSEC Board paper within any
type of publication – reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic or
mechanical, recording or duplication in any information storage and retrieval system, photocopied
or otherwise reproduced – is as per attached schedule of fees.:
(ii)
By the term ‘use’ in Clause (i), it is understood that:
(a) the text of the question is actually reproduced or transmitted in the publication;
and/or
(b) a n s w e r s or comments on questions, even without the a c t u a l reproduction or
transmission of the question/s, are given.
(iii) The concession for the publication of MATSEC Board questions is for a period of two (2) years
from the date of first publication. Thereinafter, the Publisher must reapply for concession of use.
(iv) The text of the questions, as set by MATSEC, has to be reproduced faithfully. The MATSEC
Board reserves the right to order remedial action at the expense of the Publisher; this may entail
issuing an errata corrige and/or other steps as necessary.

(v) The p u b l i c a t i o n containing the questions from MATSEC Board papers and/or workings and
comments thereof, should feature prominently, on the page preceding the Contents page, a
Disclaimer reading as follows:
The Matriculation and Secondary Education Certificate Examinations Board shall not be held
responsible for any mistakes in the questions as printed or the answers, workings or
comments as contained in this publication.
(vi) The Publisher must supply MATSEC with five (5) complimentary copies of the publication
wherein the questions or part/s thereof are used. Said copies should reach MATSEC within
fifteen (15) days following the date of initial publication.
