Greek Community Strategic Plan
2012-2017
Purpose of the Plan
The purpose of the K-State Greek Community Strategic Plan is to outline the steps we will take to strengthen our community, its influence on KState, and throughout the surrounding community. It is a five-year plan which details the actions we must take to continue to progress in the areas
of recruitment, retention, relations, and responsibility. The Interfraternity Council executive board members, Panhellenic Association executive
board members, and Greek Affairs staff must work together to ensure that the plan is implemented.
Structure of the Plan






The plan has been divided into four major focus areas – recruitment, retention, relations and responsibility.
Within each of the four focus area are goals we believe will move the K-State Greek community forward in the next five years
Within each goal are objectives, which are the specific steps that must be taken for the goal to be reached
“Responsible Party” is the listing of the individual(s) that will be primarily responsible for the completion of each step
“Pre-Assessment Method” includes any information that must be gathered or meetings that much be held before the objective can be
implemented
“Assessment Method” is how the successful completion of each objective will be monitored
This plan will be evaluated on a once-per-semester basis by a standing committee appointed by the IFC and PHA Presidents. The committee shall
be composed of:






Advisor from an IFC fraternity
Advisor from a PHA sorority
Fraternity chapter president
Sorority chapter president
Additional officer of IFC and PHA executive boards
