and quiz-outs
Kansas State University
Manhattan, Kan.
Kansas State University encourages you to
test out of courses in which you already have
academic knowledge comparable to that
gained in collegiate study.
Two national credit by examination
opportunities are available: the College
Level Examination Program (CLEP) and
the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional
Education Support (DSST). CLEP and DSST
tests can be scheduled through the Academic
Assistance Center, 101 Holton Hall,
785-532-6492. The following registration fees
are paid at the time of the examination: CLEP,
$105 per test; DSST, $105 per test.
Credit is awarded to students who are
admitted and/or currently enrolled. If the
letter grade is awarded, it will become part
of your K-State GPA. This credit is considered
resident credit and may be treated as
pre requisites for subsequent courses.
Non-graded credit by exam will not be
counted against credit/no credit limits.
Official CLEP scores can be ordered by
contacting: CLEP, Box 6601, Princeton, NJ
