Learner 6: I made an aeroplane, look, it’s got wheels for landing, I’ve only put
on two wheels and, this bit here, this is the tail…..
Teacher: Were you careful while making it?
Learner 6: Yes, I didn’t hurt myself, woodwork is easy…. I just needed to
hammer in the nails, I didn’t hammer my finger. I used the circle thing…….the
awl, to make a hole to put in my nail, it’s called an awl, it’s sharp and I didn’t
hurt myself..
I had to saw bits too, I can use a saw…I put wood in the thing and sawed,
then bits of wood came off and I added them on to my plane using the nails.
