UK and Ireland Equine Tour: What to do in Dublin? By Megan McLaughlin Dublin is a vibrant metropolitan city filled with Irish heritage. Irish music plays nearly everywhere you go. Most shopping, eating, and attraction destinations are within walking distance from the center of the city. Equine stops: We visited the Irish Army Equitation School where members of the Irish military train Irish horses for international titles in Show Jumping and Eventing. Places to Eat: Temple Bar district has great little restaurants with lots of live music. Temple Bar – get there early. It fills up quickly. The Quays Restaurant – close to the Temple Bar without the long wait. Arlington Hotel – great live music and dance performances Numerous ice cream places Other Attractions: The Guinness Storehouse was a fun tour, plus you get to drink a pint in the Gravity Bar on the top floor of the Storehouse.
