Student Organizations
You can sign up for a tutor by picking up a
tutor request form in Holton Hall 101;
Leasure Hall also offers walk-in help for
Math and English.
There is a full listing of student organizations on campus at
http://www.k-state.edu/directories/orgs.html. You will find
a multitude of student groups based on majors, interests,
and ethnicity.
ARC and DARC
Counseling Center
Like the PILOTS study lab, they offer
tutoring, computers, and study space. ARC is
located in Kramer Dining Center and DARC
is located in Derby Dining Center.
The Counseling Center offers individual or group therapy
for students, but they don’t just offer counseling services!
They also operate the University Life Café and offer two
online programs, the Academic Anxiety Online Program
and the Stress Management Online Program.
English Department Writing Center
Located in the English/Counseling Services
Building, Room 122D, they provide walk-in
tutoring or you can also enroll in a two-credit
hour course that provides structured tutoring
for your writing classes.

Do you need walk-in help in …
First-generation and/or low-income students
are encouraged to stop by Holton 201 for
tutoring and academic skills classes.
Department Tutoring
Check your department’s website or your
academic advisor may also be able to direct
you to tutoring in your program of study. Not
all departments offer free tutoring; make sure
you double check.

Last but certainly not least, you can always

Michelle. We want to know how you’re
