Advanced Placement 2014-2015 Score K-State course College credit for high school students 4 3 Calculus AB 5 MATH 220 Analytic Geometry and Calculus I Kansas State University Manhattan, Kan. The Advanced Placement test is one way to earn college credit by examination. These tests are given by the College Entrance Examination Board (CEEB) in May of the junior or senior year in high schools offering advanced placement courses. Students who have completed any of the following CEEB Advanced Placement tests should have the Educational Testing Service (ETS) forward an official report of their scores to the Office of Admissions at Kansas State University in order to receive credit. If you did not originally have scores sent to K-State, you must have ETS forward a copy of your scores to the director of admissions. To order reports you must provide ETS with the year the Advanced Placement exam was taken, subject of the exam, your birthdate or Social Security number, and the $15 fee. Score report requests should be made through apstudent.collegeboard.org. The code for K-State is 6334. No credit is granted for scores of 2 or 1. If the letter grade is awarded, it will become part of the student’s K-State GPA. Students entering the university with a grade of 5, 4, or 3 on the Advanced Placement exam in French, German or Spanish will be placed in a fifth-semester course if they desire. Language courses accepted through the AP program may not apply to retroactive credit. For more information, visit our website at k-state.edu/admissions/apply/advanced.html.
