Three finalists have been identified for the director for the master
of public health (MPH) program
Candidates will participate in a campus forum discussing their vision for the future
and enhancement of the MPH program. The candidate's information and schedule
of forums are included.
Ph.D Movie 2 screening for faculty, staff and students
The Office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Student Council are
sponsoring a free showing of “The PhD 2 Movie.” Faculty and staff are invited, so
come and enjoy this comedy and free snacks on December 4, 2015 at 6:00 pm in
1109 Engineering Hall.
Register to attend the Graduate School Commencement Ceremony
The Graduate School commencement ceremony is scheduled for 1 pm Friday,
December 11, 2015 in Bramlage Coliseum. We invite all graduate faculty to join us
and complete the online registration form by December 4, 2015.

Fall 2015 End of Semester Processing - Office of the Registrar
The Office of the Registrar has released deadlines for end of the semester
processing.
CollegeNET maintenance scheduled from 7 - 9 pm today
The CollegeNET CRM is being upgraded to the 5.5 version on November 17.
CollegeNET users will not be able to use Admit or the Applicant Portal during this
period.
Save the Date for Spring 2016 Graduate Student Welcome and
Orientation Activities
A variety of welcome and orientation activities are scheduled for new and current
graduate students throughout the week prior to the start of the spring semester
(January 11-15). Advanced registration is required and the portal is now open.
Small Research Grant Program for Graduate Students in Arts,
Humanities and Social Sciences
The Graduate School is very pleased to announce the second year of funding for
the Small Grant Program to support research expenses for Arts, Humanities &
Social Sciences Masters and PhD students in their final year of graduate study. The
application deadline is December 7, 2015.
Graduate Student Opportunities
November 20 Submission Deadline for Fall 2015 Graduates
Remind students if they plan to graduate and participate in December
commencement, they will have had submitted all Graduate School requirements
by Friday, November 20.
International Education Week - November 13-20, 2015
International Education Week provides an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of
international education and to learn more about global cultures.
Grad Bash Breakfast - December 10, 9-10:30 am
For those who are graduating in December, please inform graduates of a free
'Grad Breakfast' at the K-State Alumni Association.
K-State Graduate Research, Arts, and Discovery (GRAD)
Forum abstract submission deadline
Abstract submission for the K-State GRAD Forum (previously known as the KState Research Forum) is NOW OPEN! Registration and abstracts must be
submitted by December 18, 11:59 pm CST. Late submissions WILL NOT be
accepted. The K-State Grad Forum will be held on March 30, 2016.
