Notes
1/5000. Detects a band of approximately 30 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 30
kDa).
Target
Function
Core subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex
I) that is believed to belong to the minimal assembly required for catalysis. Complex I functions in
the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. The immediate electron acceptor
for the enzyme is believed to be ubiquinone.
Sequence similarities
Belongs to the complex I 30 kDa subunit family.
Cellular localization
Mitochondrion inner membrane.

Western blot - Anti-NDUFS3 antibody
[EPR12782] - C-terminal (HRP) (ab196865)
Exposure time : 20 minutes
This blot was produced using a 4-12% Bistris gel under the MES buffer system. The gel
was run at 200V for 35 minutes before being
transferred onto a Nitrocellulose membrane at
30V for 70 minutes. The membrane was then
blocked for an hour using 3% milk before
being incubated with ab196865 overnight at
4°C. Antibody binding was visualised using
ECL development solution ab133406.
