1.) Plug in the hair dryer and turn it on.
2.) Put it on the highest setting and point it straight up.
3.) Place your ping pong ball above the hair dryer and watch what
happens.
Air Pressure Station 2: Magic Glass Water Trick
1.) Fill a glass one third with water.
2.) Cover the mouth with an index card and turn upside down
(HOLDING THE CARD IN PLACE) over the sink.
3.) Remove your hand from the card. Observe what happens.
Air Pressure Station 3: Fountain Bottle
1.) Seal a 2-liter soda bottle (half-full of water) with a lump of clay
wrapped around a long straw, sealing the straw to the mouth of the
bottle.
2.) Blow hard into the straw. As you blow air into the bottle observe
what happens.
Air Pressure Station 4: Ping Pong Funnel
1.) Insert a ping pong ball into a funnel and blow hard into the top of
the funnel. Observe what happens.
2.) Try again by blowing lightly into the top of the funnel. Observe what
happens.
