5. PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Insurance:
We recommend participants to make their own arrangements for insurance against accidents.
Currency:
The currency used in El Salvador is the US Dollar.
Time:
The local time in San Salvador is GMT-6.
Weather:
The climate in San Salvador in March is expected to be warm, with highs of 33℃ and lows of 20℃.
Electricity:
The power supply in El Salvador is mainly 120V/60Hz. The sockets are NEMA 5-15.
Please make sure you bring one with you as the hotel does not carry them. If you want
to buy one in El Salvador, you can do so at a duty free shop at the airport.
Transport:
Participants are requested to make their own travel arrangement from the airport to the hotel.
The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the airport at the cost of USD 19.00.
