Home Away From Home NCC is one of the few community colleges within the northeastern United States that provides on-campus housing for students. In fact, the College provides two different housing options: residence halls and an apartment complex. The residence halls continue to expand, and the apartment complex houses four student per unit. This will help you to master English skills essential to academic work and day-to-day conversation. There are four skill levels with components in Speaking, Reading, and Writing. You will learn and practice computer literacy as well and receive help in developing study skills and test-taking strategies. The ESL Center, a facility for non-native English speakers, provides you with a chance to practice your English with friendly professional and student assistants. You will be required to take an ESL placement test to help us determine your English skill level. 2. Transcripts of High School and College Work.
