The faculty voted to approve 26 February 2014 meeting minutes. II. The following items were recommended by the Committee on Academic Priorities and approved by the faculty: A. New Courses as Permanent Offerings 1. B. C. SOC 239 How Power Works Curricular Items 1. Change in the minor and major requirements for the MTH department. 2. Request from GEO to increase the number of credits for intermediate and advanced courses with labs from 4 to 5. 3. Dual prefix IDP 120 Community-Based Learning: Ethics and Practice as IDP 120/CCX 120 Community-Based Learning: Ethics and Practice. 4. Remove the dual-prefix for PSY 301 Research Design and Analysis and MTH 290 Research Design and Analysis 5. ECO 264 Partisan Economic Issues has been renumbered to ECO 234 and the description and prerequisites have been modified to ECO 150, ECO 153, AND ECO 220 or its equivalent. The Committee of Academic Priorities recommended and the faculty approved a proposal for a new program: Program in Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies.
