appropriate local and national requirements have been adequately met.

An up to date Ordnance Survey plan to a scale of 1:1250 or
1:2500. The site boundaries must be edged in red. Any adjoining
land owned by the applicant must be edged in blue
Block Plan
(4 copies)
A plan to a scale of 1:200 or 1:500 (indicating northerly direction).
The plan must accurately show the proposed building works,
access, hard surfacing, landscaping (including the position of any
existing trees), and boundary treatments, together with accurate
details of adjoining properties and roads adjoining the site. Red
and blue boundaries should be indicated as for the location plan

Lighting Assessment
Required in the case of proposals in the vicinity of a residential property, a listed building or a
conservation area, or in the countryside, where (other than of a minor nature) external lighting
would be provided or made necessary by the development. The assessment should include details
of the lighting and when it would be switched on. These details should include a layout plan with
beam orientation and a schedule of the equipment in the design.
Photographs and Photomontages
These can provide useful background information and can help to show how large developments
can be satisfactorily integrated within the street scene. Photographs should be provided if the
proposal involves the demolition of an existing building or development affecting a conservation
area or a listed building (in particular works to the interior).
