A Message from the Guidance Office
Class of 2016 ...Your senior year is quickly coming to an end and with
about eight weeks left of school we want to remind all of you to finish the year
off strong! Be sure to talk to your teachers if you are having trouble in any of your classes and utilize tutoring after
school if necessary. Your teachers and counselors are here to help and we
want nothing more than to see you walk at graduation. Also keep in mind
that universities will be looking at 2nd semester grades and can revoke your
admission if you let your grades slip at the end of the semester.
As you receive your notification for Cal Grant in the mail be sure to review and submit
any necessary changes by the specified deadline. Letters of intent to the college or university of your choice need to be submitted by May 1st . Be sure to keep track of future
deadlines regarding your financial aid, housing, etc. Should you have any questions regarding admission, housing, and/or financial aid be sure to contact your school’s office
of undergraduate admissions. Most of this information is easily accessible online.
