NOTE: Unless otherwise noted, all programs require:
 Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university;
 Transcript from all institutions of higher learning attended. If the original transcript/degree confirmation is not in English, certified English translation must be provided.

3.0 GPA in last 60 hours (90 quarter hours) of undergraduate work;
 Two Recommendation letters (three letters required for PhD programs in Anthropology and Psychology); may not be required for some certiticate programs.
 Scores from the GRE General Aptitude test;
 Statement of Purpose;
 For international students whose first language is not English, a TOEFL score of 600 paper/100 IBT; an IELTS score of 7; or Pearson Test of English score of 68.
 Rolling deadline indicates that department will review applications until beginning of semester or until classes are full.

poems not exceeding 15 pages. Each new poem must appear on a
separate page. Statement of purpose should describe form and
content of your work as a writer in the past year and how you see
the AU MFA program enhancing your growth as a writer. We regard
your statement of purpose as evidence of your skills as a writer and
are particularly alert to what it reveals about your voice and style.
