Renewal and University
Credit
One hour of University of Northern Iowa graduate credit is available at a cost of $148. A reflection paper is required for graduate credit.
Details available at the conferences.
Superintendent renewal credit will be processed through SAI for $20. Forms will be
available at the conferences and are returned
directly to SAI.
School Business Official Authorization renewal
credit will be processed through the Iowa Associate of School Business Officials. Forms will
be available at the conferences and must be
signed each day for credit.
Please note that 15 hours of contact time is
required for each hour of credit.

What is ISFLC?
The Iowa Superintendents Finance and Leadership Consortium, founded in 1997, is a partnership between the
Institute for Educational Leadership (IEL) at the University
of Northern Iowa and the Iowa Association of School
Boards (IASB). The ISFLC is a professional development
program for Iowa superintendents to expand their knowledge base and develop fiscal management and leadership skills. The Consortium offers two day sessions to
meet the varied fiscal management and leadership needs
of Iowa superintendents and aspiring superintendents.

$300 registration fee for one person
$275 per person for a 2-or-more-person team if
registered together
Conference registration includes: Training materials for 1 3/4 days and continental breakfast and
lunch each day. A cancellation fee of $60 per attendee will be assessed for cancellations received
with in 10 days of conference or for those that fail
to attend without notice.

ISFLC recognizes the value of building central
office staff teams and learning together. District
Central Office Administrators are encouraged to
attend upon invitation from their superintendents. In an effort to accommodate those seeking School Business Official Authorization
(SBOA) renewal credit, board secretaries and
business managers are invited to participate in
ISFLC conferences as a part of a team or as
individuals. You decide if your team will benefit
most from registering for the same or different
Tracks.
Aspiring Superintendents
A special invitation is extended to school leaders aspiring to the superintendency. ISFLC conferences are excellent opportunities to further
develop your knowledge base and skills in
preparation for the superintendency. Track 1 is
the initial program of study for aspiring superintendents. After completing Track 1, aspiring
superintendents may register for any of the
remaining tracks.

A special invitation is extended to you to attend
the New Superintendents’ Conference, September 23. This one-day conference will provide
