on Immigration Bill
Tuesday 26/04/2016
On 26/04/2016 the government had a defeat in the House of Lords on an amendment
to the Immigration Bill: To insist that detention of pregnant women in immigration

limit of 72 hours, or up to 7 days if detention is authorised by a minister, as proposed
by the House of Commons.
This was defeat number 52 in the parliamentary session.
