Graduate students appointed as teaching fellows are required to either teach in the ESS Department or work in
athletic administration. Both assignments require about the same amount of time per week, although there are
times when students in athletic administration will work in a more condensed fashion. Students teaching in ESS
usually teach performance courses, but some also work as teaching assistants in undergraduate theory courses. In
order to place you appropriately, please answer the following questions.
