The Earth Science Teaching B.A. major requires a minimum of 120 total hours to graduate. This total
includes Liberal Arts Core requirements, courses in the Professional Education Sequence and the
following specified major requirements. This major is designed to prepare secondary earth science
teachers. Students may also want to obtain endorsements in other secondary science teaching areas, such
as chemistry or physics.
