Student Travel Policy
When traveling on university business or with a student organization from Michigan Technological
University, students are considered representatives of the university and are therefore expected to
conduct themselves accordingly.
Appropriate conduct by students and sponsors while attending university-sponsored events must be
in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct found in the Student Handbook. A copy of the
Student Handbook may be obtained in the Student Life Department or Deans of Students Office or
online at www.mtu.edu/student-affairs/interests/handbook/
I, ______________________________, will conduct myself while traveling on university-related
business in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Student Code of Conduct in the
Student Handbook. Failure to do so may result in a disciplinary hearing with the Dean of Students.
