OFFICE ORDER
Subject:
Delegating enhanced financial powers to Head of
Prisons Department under the SOE “Material and
Supply” in the Prisons Department.
The Governor, Himachal Pradesh, is pleased to order
that the Director General of Prisons shall have full powers under SOE“Material & Supply” subject to constitution of a Purchase Committee for
this purpose as provided under the said SOE as referred to in F.D’s
delegation vide No. Fin-1-C(14)1/83 dated 06.09.1995 and within the
budgetary allocation. The HOD shall be responsible to exercise such
powers for issuing the expenditure sanctions under this SOE as per
spirit of it.

This issues with the prior concurrence of the Finance
Department obtained vide U.O. No. Fin-(C)A(2) 3/83 dated 22nd March,
2011.
