Supervisor: Professor Tim Jones
Project description:
A funded PhD studentship is available to work on the development of high efficiency multi-junction organic
solar cells under the supervision of Professor Tim Jones. The project will involve using state-of-the-art
techniques to fabricate novel organic solar cells using small molecule organic semiconductors, as well as
the detailed characterisation and analysis of the materials and devices using a wide range of structural,
electronic, electrical and optical techniques. The project is suited to a student with a background in
chemistry, physics or materials science.
Requirements:
Applicants should have, or be expected to obtain, a Masters degree in chemistry, materials science or
