In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of
the Constitution of India, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh, in consultation with
the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, is pleased to make the
following rules further to amend the Himachal Pradesh Administrative
Rules, 1973, notified vide this Department's

11.05.1973, by making amendments in the Himachal Pradesh Administrative
Service (Second Amendment), Rules, 2010 and Himachal Pradesh Administrative
Service (Second Amendment),
Rules, 2011, notified
vide this Department's
Notifications of even number dated 16th November, 2010 and 31st May, 2011 and
published in Rajpatra (Extra Ordinary) dated 22nd November, 2010 and 2nd June,
2011, respectively namely:-

These rules may be called the Himachal

Amendment), Rules, 2012.
(2)
For the existing provision of sub-rule (2)
of
Rule

Administrative

Pradesh

Amendment), Rules, 2010 and Himachal
Pradesh Administrative
Service (Second
Amendment), Rules, 2011, the following
shall be substituted, namely:"(2) These rules shall come into force
with effect from 1st January, 2014"
