In exercise of the powers con ferred by the proviso to Article 309 of
the Constitution of India and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor
of Himachal Pradesh, in supersession of this Department's notification No. 2-4171- Fin
(Reg)-II , dated 30.03.1974, is' pleased
Services Rules, shall
to ord er that the
remain applicab le to th e
following
Central Civil
Himachal Pradesh Government
employees as the same exist on the date of Issua nce of this notification, namely:1.
Fund amental Rules and Supplementary Rules,
2.
Central Civil Services (Pension ) Rules, 1972 (as applicable
to the Government employees appointed prior to 15Ih May,2003)
3.
General Provident Fund (Centra l Services) Rules,1960,
4.
Central Civil Services (Leave) Ru les 1972 ,
5.
Central Civil Services (Commutation of Pension) Rules ,1981.

The Governor, Himachal Pradesh is further pleased to order that
henceforth any amendment in the above rules by the Government of India shall be
applicable to H.P. Government employees only on its adoption and circulation by the
State Government.
The Governor, Himachal Pradesh is also pleased to order that the

following rules shall also be applicable to the HP Government employees and they will
be in the domain of the Department of Personnel, namely:-
1.
Central Civil Services ((Temp orary Service) Rules,1965
2.
Central Civil Services (Classificatlon,Control and Appeal) Rules,1965,
3.
Central Civil Services (Conduct) Ru les,1964,
