THE GERMAN SOCIETY
"Hallo und Willkommen to Warwick German Society!
The German Society is here to help you through your German studies
both academically and socially. We aim to bring together all students
who study German (or just love Germany!) as well as Erasmus students on their year abroad from Germany. No matter whether
you're a party animal or prefer chilling out, we have socials for you!
Alongside our nights out and pub crawls, some of the socials also
have an academic focus to increase your confidence in speaking German.
Our Buddy Scheme matches Freshers with a second year studying
the same course, and it offers Freshers support during their first year
at uni. You can ask your second year buddy any questions you have
about moving into Warwick, your course or any worries you might
have!
We're already excited about our annual tour to Germany in Term 2.
This year, we're going to BERLIN! We really recommend this trip; it's
a great opportunity to get to know your course mates, and improve
your knowledge and love of Germany's capital.
