Write your Centre number, candidate number and name on all the work you hand in.
Write in dark blue or black pen.
Do not use staples, paper clips, highlighters, glue or correction fluid.
DO NOT WRITE IN ANY BARCODES.
Choose one of the topics overleaf and write an essay in Japanese of 600 – 800 characters.
Dictionaries are not permitted.
Your essay will be marked out of 40 with 24 marks for quality of language and 16 marks for content.
At the end of the examination, fasten all your work securely together.
