Kongamato Although dinosaurs are known to have been extinct for thousands of years, a strange tale from Zambia, in Africa, might suggest otherwise. Today, sightings continue in remote areas of Africa and the existence of the Kongamato is common knowledge among the inhabitants. When asked to draw what they have seen, they repeatedly draw a creature that looks remarkably like a pterosaur.
