Section A

A travel company is making a series of web pages for customers. You will create an animated globe to put on the web page. There are three image files you can use,

. You can adapt any of these images.

1 Use the storyboard frames below to plan your animation. At least three graphics must be your own adapted images of the files supplied.

2 Make six images to use in your animation. Save these files into a folder called by YourName . Call them by YourName and numbers 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 and 6 .

1 Your animation needs to have some music or sound to go with it. Add this to your animation. The sound must not be longer than the animation sequence. Save this file as YourNameSOUND .

(b) Why does the sound complement your animation? Give details of how it will be attractive to the customers of the travel company.

PART TWO

Section A

You have been working on a video project in your lessons. Your footage is now ready to edit into the video you have planned on your storyboard. Your video should be suitable to inform an adult audience about your school.

1 Complete the following table according to your storyboard. Add any required information that is not on your storyboard.

2 Open the video editing software. Load up your video clips. Edit any video clips according to your plan. Apply the effects, transitions and captions to your film.

1 Add a soundtrack to your film. The film must have music from start to finish but no more. Test this soundtrack to make sure that it sounds right. Save this file called as YourNameMUSIC . Render the film while you are answering the next question.

2 The audience for the film are adults. Explain the following in your own words:

(a) Was the music appropriate for the film and the audience?

Make sure you have submitted your final film to your teacher. It should be called

YourNameMUSIC if you did Section B or YourName only for Section A .
