Notes
1/1000 - 1/10000. Predicted molecular weight: 109 kDa.
Is unsuitable for Flow Cyt,ICC/IF,IHC-P or IP.
Target
Function
Myosins are actin-based motor molecules with ATPase activity. Unconventional myosins serve
in intracellular movements. Their highly divergent tails are presumed to bind to membranous
compartments, which would be moved relative to actin filaments. MYO19 is involved in
mitochondrial motility.
Tissue specificity
Widely expressed in multiple tissues and cell lines.
Sequence similarities
Contains 2 IQ domains.
Contains 1 myosin head-like domain.
Cellular localization
Cytoplasm > cytoskeleton. Mitochondrion outer membrane. Probably associated with the outer
membrane via its N-terminal mitochondrial targeting region.
