Deliberate Risk Assessment (DRA): FAST report bullet 1
 Working with Livingston and Engle developing Standard Template (based on survey feedback
and user interaction) for all PNW Teams to utilize, thought process would remain at individual
team level (deliver to AA’s and IC’s at IMT training)
 Provide template for Agency Administrators or NWCC to provide to Out of Area Teams
All Hazard Complexity Analysis: Survey Comment for All Hazard Training for IMT’s
 Propose that PNWCG accept the NIMS Complexity Analysis as the standard for All-Hazard
Response
 Once approved, OWT will coordinate to incorporate the NIMS Complexity Analysis into all
PNW Mobilization Guides as the standard for All-Hazard Response.
Mobilization Guides Survey comment and FAST report for mobilization and staging
 Monitor consistency of Mobilization Guides throughout PNW
 Insure T1 and T2 out of area teams adhere to similar standards of PNW (Cal Fire hours)
Task Order (1410-02) Type 2 Crew Requirements
 Clarification on PNWCG Task Order for Crews (intent is vague and not understood of tasking)
 Recommend to PNWCG that Crew Standard should be the same for Contract and Agency Crews.
(Request PNWCG take this to NWCG for standardization)
Wildland Fire Modules Survey comment and FAST report for meeting limited needs
 Develop Briefing Paper on the Capabilities and Use of Type 1 and Type 2 Wildland Fire Modules
(WFM)
 Provide guidance for agencies to determine the need for WFM in PNW.
Short-haul
 Working with Aviation Working Team to develop briefing paper on the capabilities, limitations,
and appropriate use of Short-haul capable aircraft. Intent from paper will be delivered at spring:
IMT training, Captains meeting, Dispatcher meeting and FALT.
Type 3 Teams FAST report and multiple Survey comments for preposition and IA
 Develop a standard configuration (number and qualifications) for PNW IMT3s to status and
mobilize within and outside of the GACC. Concern for out of GA Team configuration (roster
size)
Medical Response Protocol
 PNW Teams utilizing standardized 9 Line for Incident Medical Response
 Provide Agency Administrators with the 9 Line Template for Out of Area Teams
 Need to discuss/develop consistent level of incident medical support throughout PNW. (Line
Qualified EMT, Ambulance, etc.)
