Induction Week Meetings and Module Registration Procedures for
ESPS Teaching Departments, 2015-16





All students: Attend all relevant sessions and follow all module registration procedures listed below in your Teaching Departments (i.e. those in
which you are taking modules). Teaching Departments are designated by the module code.
1st Years and Affiliates: These sessions are in addition to your meeting with your personal tutor and to and to registering your modules on Portico (see
Induction Week general schedule on the ESPS website.
2nd and Final Years: In addition to these sessions, you should have already registered your modules on Portico. If you have not done so, you must do so
immediately.
If any event clashes with an ESPS meeting, you should attend the ESPS meeting, and inform the other department that you cannot attend their event.
If any event (other than an ESPS meeting) clashes with those of your Major Language, you should attend the major language meeting, and inform the
other department that you cannot attend their event.

Laws beginners: You must register for the 0 unit module LAWS1013 on Portico.
Students who intend to apply for a Year Exchange in Law: Register for LAWS1007 (French) LAWS1008
(German – post A-Level only), or LAWS1010 (Spanish) on Portico. Then, email ug.law@ucl.ac.uk to ask
to arrange an appointment with the convenor to test your language ability.
