Target
Relevance
Insulin decreases blood glucose concentration. It increases cell permeability to
monosaccharides, amino acids and fatty acids. It accelerates glycolysis, the pentose phosphate
cycle, and glycogen synthesis in liver. Defects in insulin are the cause of familial
hyperproinsulinemia.

The tissue was formaldehyde fixed and a heat
mediated antigen retrieval step in Tris buffer
was performed. The tissue was then blocked
and incubated with the antibody for 2 hours. A
biotinylated goat anti-mouse IgG antibody
was used as the secondary.

ab8304 used on human pancreas. The tissue
was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated
antigen retrieval step in Tris buffer was
performed. The tissue was then blocked and
incubated with the antibody for 2 hours. A
