THE SUBCONSCIOUS
For this performance, students used surrealist writing methods to create performances highlighting the
subconscious – an often-cached part of ourselves. We learn about their dreams, loves, hopes, wishes, and faults
shown in a dream-like sequence with images, not traditional narratives. Much like many of us approach art, we ask
that you embrace the performative, aesthetic, dreamlike state of these works.
