COURSE DESCRIPTION
An advanced level computer assisted design (CAD) course applying design techniques to produce high
level three-dimensional CAD technology to interior projects. This course builds upon the introduction to
three-dimensional CAD technology gained in IND 220.
Prerequisites: IND 220
TOPICAL OUTLINE:

Exploring and Understanding the 3D Workspace

Wireframe and Surface Modeling
III.
Solid Modeling of Simple Shapes.
IV.
Complex Solid Models
V.
Editing 3D Solids and Surfaces.
VI.
Basic 3d shapes in AutoCAD Architectural
VII.
Drawing walls, windows, doors and openings
VIII.
Exploring drawing techniques in 3D: What to draw, and how much
IX.
Applying Cameras, Materials, Lighting, for interior space
X.
Controlling Output: Printing and Layouts
