Location University of Warwick , UK Salary: Hours: Contract Placed on: £35,235 Full Time Contract/Temporay Closes: will remain open until filled Job Ref: A post-doctoral Research Assistant position is available on modeling of fluid flow in deformable fractured reservoirs in the School of Engineering at the University of Warwick. The research position is for 12 months. The successful candidate is expected to hold a PhD in an appropriate area of research and to have expertise in the following areas: finite element modelling, solid or rock mechanics, fluid flow in fractured porous rocks or other closely related areas. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have strong computer programming skills. Experience with fracture mechanics is desirable. Strong communication/interpersonal skill and an ability to work independently are essential.
