The Brendan Midgley and Joseph Stryjak Celebration of Life Bursary Fund The Brendan Midgley and Joseph Stryjak Celebration of Life Bursary Fund was established at Simon Fraser University in 2006 by the Midgley and Stryjak families and their friends. Brendan Midgley and Joseph Stryjak, who passed away tragically on January 13, 2006, were both students at Simon Fraser University. Brendan was studying French and Joseph was in the Criminology Program. The Brendan Midgley and Joseph Stryjak Celebration of Life Bursary Fund will support bursaries for students at Simon Fraser University in any Faculty.
