MSN/Live/Hotmail
1. Once
logged
in
select
“Add
an
e‐mail
account”
from
the
selection
bar
on
the
left.
2. Click
“Advanced
options”
3. Fill
out
the
form
with
the
appropriate
information.
This
includes
your
Xavier
Email
address,
your
Xavier
user
ID,
your
Xavier
email
password,
and
the
incoming
mail
server
of
mail.xula.edu.
Uncheck
the
“This
server
requires
a
secure
connection
(SSL)”.
Ensure
the
“Leave
a
copy
of
my
messages
on
the
server”
is
checked.
4. At
the
Add
an
e‐mail
account
screen
answer
questions
to
your
preference.
Click
the
“Save”
button
when
finished.
You
will
get
a
message
stating
that
your
account
is
being
setup.
5. Microsoft
should
send
out
a
validation
letter
to
your
Xavier
Email
account
to
verify
that
you
own
it.
Click
on
the
link
inside
of
the
email
to
validate
and
you
should
now
be
able
to
POP
mail
to
your
MSN
account.
