In1972,PresidentNixon’sEducationCommissionfoundmanyofthesamefunding issuesatplayintheeducationalsystemthatweseetoday,andcametosimilar conclusionstotheEducationEquityandExcellenceCommission.Bothfoundthat weneedtofundaneducationalsystemthatpreparesyoungergenerationsforthe innovativejobsofthefuture,createsamorerobustworkforce,andensuresthat Americastaysattheforefrontoftheglobaleconomy.
