What can I do with a degree in…..
Information Systems, Management
and Innovation
Technology-based innovation is at the forefront of business growth around the world. This degree will allow
you to consider roles in the design, development and deployment of digital solutions, products and services
in a range of industries and organisations. Roles may be in technology consulting, entrepreneurial
opportunities in data analytics or opportunities in building and developing new business networks. You may
want to work for a smaller start-up company, household names in technology, and in a range of sectors, e.g.
financial services, manufacturing, retail, government etc.
The structure of the course which matches traditional academic core study with group work, personal
projects and optional placements will allow you to develop many of the skills employers look for, including
strategic business analysis, innovation, entrepreneurship, systems thinking, social aspects and project
management. The opportunity to take optional modules both within and outside WBS will give you the
scope to follow your own interests or career ideas as your degree progresses. Engagement with top
